We know that crime happens everywhere including here in Texas, but this type of crime is not common. To be honest, when hearing about multi-million-dollar heists like this, it sounds like the plot for a major movie. But the seven suspects that were arrested know that this is no laughing matter. 

Millions of Dollars in Merchandise Went Missing 

The details were released by WFAA, regarding the Grapevine police department working on an investigation from May 13th, 2024. According to officers there was a warehouse burglary with men cutting a hole into a door and gain access to an area where they stole over $500,000 in Ray-Ban glasses and Oculus virtual reality headsets. 

But you know when suspects get away with something like this, they want to do it again.

Grapevine Police Were Waiting for the Suspects to Try This Again 

In August, officers spotted a suspect vehicle driving by an electronics warehouse. They kept their distance but deployed a drone and confirmed a robbery in progress.  

But the suspects had multiple lookouts throughout the city who tipped them off to police activity. Although police did take one suspect into custody, six more arrests eventually took place. 

These Suspects Were Connect With 7 Heists 

After investigating the crimes officers determined this group had committed seven heists in total between August of 2023 and June of 2024. 

All suspects have been charged with Engaging in Organized Criminal Activity which is a first-degree felony. 

The seven suspects are: 

Adrian Ellison, 38 

Julius Green, 40 

Willie Hill, 38 

Eric White, 33 

Fayzal Kara, 40 

Ronnie Vaden, 33 

Derrick White, 38 

All suspects are innocent until proven guilty.
