I wish more often there were songs like this which resonates on the inside – a song that is pure and fresh. It should happen more often than not.

Drew Womack has been around for quite some time as a well-respected singer/songwriter, although he took a long hiatus for his health. He came back swinging with his album Sunshine To Rain back in 2012, offering a wide-variety of styles that encompass him as an artist. The title track off the album should be especially noted, with its soft voice touching on a strong subject:

"The album’s powerful title track is inspired by a woman that Womack encountered at a liquor store – a victim of alcoholism, ironically packing all her belongings into boxes bearing the labels of the very thing that ruined her life in the first place."
