Kevin Fowler's "Beach Please" was a big hit for the Amarillo native in 2018. Always on the go, The Redneck Messiah kicked of this year with a brand new song, "Country Song to Sing." Fowler says the tune reminds him of the songs that shaped his own life.

I just think it's a great song that everybody can relate to. When I was a kid there was always a country song that would remind me of a certain place and time," Fowler told Wide Open Country. "I look back and I still hear Dwight Yoakam's "Guitars and Cadillacs" or an old Merle song. They kind of take me back to that place and time. That's what the song's about. No matter where you're at in life, you'll always have a country song to sing -- a song that will get you through.

This week "Country Song to Sing" is your RTX Sunday Video.
