No matter what you do for a living, there will always be those bad apples that, for whatever reason, are able to maneuver the ranks quicker than you. Maybe "bad apple" is the wrong phrase, perhaps a-hole or bee-otch is a better description. But, it's a given, no matter what your profession is, it's much easier to cheer along the good guys. Even if some of the bee-otches make good music too.

And on the rare occasion when an actual "good person" with actual talent comes along, and is working hard pursuing their dream, and it's paying off -- I'm over here like Shia Labeouf in "Shia Labeouf" Live by Rob Cantor.

The Statesboro Revue are good people, that make good music. Stewart Mann is the lead singer of the band, and he's also a life-long fan of Marshall Tucker Band. Yesterday Mann lived out a dream and shared the stage with a few of his idols.

His honest reaction, both on stage and the socials, to this was beautiful to watch.

From Mann's personal Facebook page:

I've been working my butt off for over 15 years trying to "make it" in the music business. I may not be rich off of it, I spend too much time away from home, the ups&downs of the business are absolutely brutal, and Lord knows it's not the healthiest profession in the world, but it all led me to this moment from last night and I wouldn't trade it for anything in the world. I sang Can't You See with the Marshall Tucker Band! I sang Can't You See with the freakin Marshall Tucker Band!!! I'm still in shock....the most humble, gracious, supportive,&welcoming guys I've ever met. Long live southern rock!!!

The Statesboro Revue's latest single "Undone," just became the guys' first Top 10 single in Texas. Check out their new album "Jukehouse Revival."

Is this real life? Did I really sing Can't You See on stage WITH the Marshall Tucker Band? Yes I did my friends, yes I did...musical peak? I hope not!
