Today Cody Johnson and the Rockin' CJB are bringing their Lonestar Music nominated Live act of the Year to Cowboy's nightclub in Tyler. The show will be the first of a long line of album release parties. The band's third studio album, “Cowboy Like Me,” hits stores and iTunes yesterday.

Today's a big day for Cody Johnson. His third studio album, "Cowboy Like Me," hits stores and iTunes, well now. In just the first half of new music Tuesday "Cowboy Like Me" has shot all the way to No.8 on iTunes, smack-dab between Jennifer Nettles and Jason Aldean, that's big company.

It's one of my most anticipated albums out this year, and now you can guarantee you get it -- before your friends. Lone Star Music has begun taking orders for Cody Johnson Band's "Cowboy Like Me."

Seems like most everyone is bashing country music these days, and there's reason to. I heard  some legitimate reasons Why Country Music was Awful in 2013. And while calling people out for singing crappy songs serves a purpose, and may even serve to correct the ship -- you gotta admit, it's hard to argue how bad a song is, when people download it like crack.
