The Dixie Chicks released a statement on their Facebook page claiming the West Texas Walk Of Fame is honoring lead Chick, Natalie Maines. Former "Walk of Fame" Inductees include Buddy Holly, Waylon Jennings, and her father, Lloyd Maines.

Say what you want (Lord knows Natalie Maines does), but the Dixie Chicks are one of the best bands of-all-time; and may be the best female band ever. Country or not. And everyone loves 'em some Robert Earl Keen. Today the Wall Street Journal posted a new duet from former Dixie Chick, Natalie Maines and Keen, called Wayfaring Stranger.

I nearly peed my pants when I found this treasure a few weeks back. Like the Dixie Chicks or not, it's as if this song was made for them. During the European leg of their tour this Spring, they added this Miley Cyrus tune to their set list, of course with some extra DC flair.
