Natalie Maines has confirmed that The Dixie Chicks will be releasing a new album in 2020, and it will be called Gaslighter.

The Dixie Chicks released a statement on their Facebook page claiming the West Texas Walk Of Fame is honoring lead Chick, Natalie Maines. Former "Walk of Fame" Inductees include Buddy Holly, Waylon Jennings, and her father, Lloyd Maines.

Say what you want (Lord knows Natalie Maines does), but the Dixie Chicks are one of the best bands of-all-time; and may be the best female band ever. Country or not. And everyone loves 'em some Robert Earl Keen. Today the Wall Street Journal posted a new duet from former Dixie Chick, Natalie Maines and Keen, called Wayfaring Stranger.

I nearly peed my pants when I found this treasure a few weeks back. Like the Dixie Chicks or not, it's as if this song was made for them. During the European leg of their tour this Spring, they added this Miley Cyrus tune to their set list, of course with some extra DC flair.

In light of recent events in country music - i.e. Gary Allan hating modern day country, Zac Brown bashing Luke Bryan, and Blake Shelton calling our grandparent's taste in country music distasteful -- I found this wonderful article at SavingCountryMusic.com, outlining the greatest feuds in Country Music history to date.

We received several responses on whether or not the Dixie Chicks should return to our beloved Country genre, from absolutely yes, maybe so to hell no.
