We hate to hear about any crime taking place in Texas, but especially violent crime like an armed robbery which occurred recently with the target being a Twitch streamer and OnlyFans model.
Most young people love the idea of becoming famous or going viral online, but when those dollars start rolling in, that also makes you a target because other people get jealous and want your money.
Dangerous Robbery in Texas Involving Online Star
The popular online figure is Kaitlyn Siragusa who goes by the name Amouranth online. And she didn’t just sit back and watch robbers take what she worked for as she shot one of the attackers in self-defense.
Although according to My San Antonio, police are reporting that the online personality was also pistol-whipped by the intruders who were attempting to steal her cryptocurrency.
She Posted About Money and It Made Her a Target
In November, Siragusa posted online to her 3.8 million followers a screenshot claiming it was her cryptocurrency balance. The post showed $20 million in Bitcoin and $80,000 in Ethereum.
Details About the Robbery
The Houston Police report the incident took place around 10:55 p.m. on Sunday, March 2nd. The influencer posted to social media “I’m being robbed at gunpoint.”
She then shared a 48-second video of surveillance footage.She also showed photos of damage done to her home.
SWAT responded to the scene, reporting that she is safe though injured.
Let this be a lesson to everyone, don’t post about your finances online. It will only attract negative things and people who want to take that money from you.
