The Amazing Charley Crockett to Make Grand Ole Opry Debut

One of our favorites will be making his Grand Ole Opry debut this summer. Charley Crockett will step into the circle on Tuesday, June 25th.

On his Instagram post revealing the news to fans Crockett wrote, “It’s a stage I didn’t think I’d have the chance to play on. Sure hope they like me!”

On April 20th of last year Crockett released Lonesome As A Shadow, his fourth full-length album and his first release consisting entirely of original songs.

The album’s first single, “I Wanna Cry,” premiered at Rolling Stone who describes it as, “…a more soulful side of the traditional roots-based sound that Crockett first honed as a street performer in New Orleans.”
