Last week Turnpike Troubadours got us believing that Christmas miracles may still be possible when they updated their website, wiped their Instagram, and made their Twitter private.

Yesterday they squashed any doubt in their fan's minds that miracles don't exist when they confirmed the speculation of a reunion by posting a new band photo to Instagram.

We’ve also always had pretty neat chemistry with the crowd for the vast majority of our shows. And I do miss that, because that’s not something you can really replicate in life. There’s nothing else that gives you that.”

Today, the pride of Oklahoma has announced their first show, in what will be nearly three years since their last. Turnpike Troubadours are going to Red Rocks in Colorado in 2022. And I've got the feeling this will be the fastest sellout in Red Rocks history.

While you might think they'd do their first big show in Oklahoma, and they could still very well announce earlier concerts there or anywhere for that matter, you can go ahead and write it down: Turnpike Troubadours will headline beautiful Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Morrison Colorado on May 14th, 2022. Reckless Kelly and Shovels & Rope will be kicking things off at the picturesque live music venue.

Tickets go on sale Friday, December 3rd.

In an exclusive full band interview with Rolling Stone that was published today Evan Felker shared, “We’re the same guys. We’re not even that much older. In fact, in some ways we might be younger. We’ve also always had pretty neat chemistry with the crowd for the vast majority of our shows. And I do miss that, because that’s not something you can really replicate in life. There’s nothing else that gives you that.”

And we can't wait to see that chemistry back on stage in the new year.

In fact as of last year, Texas is only second to Florida (by two players) as the state with the most players in the NFL.
