Back in October USA Network revealed the 21 artists competing in its new music showcase series Real Country. Each contestant was hand-picked by the show’s panel; Shania Twain, Travis Tritt and Jake Owen. And several had roots in the Texas / Red Dirt scene.

Travis Tritt’s picks alone feature Bri Bagwell, Scooter Brown, and Copper Chief. Last night was Bri's turn on the big stage. She competed for $10,000, a performance at Stagecoach, and a spot in the grand finale where they will compete to win $100,000 and perform at the grand Ole Opry.

Bri, who's latest single "If You Were a Cowboy" spent two weeks at No. 1 in Texas last month, didn't win, but she gave us two great performances. If you missed it she sang "Seven Spanish Angels," and "Heart Like Mine."

Great job, Bri!
