Willie Nelson has been forced to cancel the first leg of his "Django and Jimmie" tour with Merle Haggard, this according to SavingCountryMusic.com. The legendary singer is citing an undisclosed medical issue.

Dates canceled include: the Florence Civic Center in Florence, S.C., on Oct. 15, the Berglund Center Coliseum in Roanoke, Va., on Oct. 16, and the Santander Arena in Reading, Pa., on Oct. 17.

We have just been informed that Willie Nelson has a medical issue and will be rescheduling the first half of his tour dates,” states Nick Hooker, Senior Marketing Manager for SMG Florence Civic Center. “We know this is last-minute and we sincerely apologize for any inconvenience, but our hearts and best wishes go to Willie Nelson and his family during this time of health concern. Get well soon Willie, we can’t wait to see you in April alongside Merle Haggard.
