Last Sunday (June 28th) Austin gave back to the community in the way only the Live Music Capital of the World could: with an all-day benefit concert.  And proceeds went to support the families and communities devastated by the spring flooding.

Hosted by Asleep at the Wheel's Ray Benson, and ACM recording artist Jack Ingram, and presented by the City of Austin, Travis County, the LCRA, and the Texas Music Office, the Flood Aid TX benefit featured an all-star line up.

Austin's best including Cory Morrow, Kevin Fowler, Robert Earl Keen Sunny Sweeney, Shinyribs, some Brauns, Ingram, Benson and more performed throughout the day at the Palmer Events Center in Austin.

100% of the proceeds were and will be donated to the United Way of Hays County Flood Relief Fund & Austin Disaster Relief Network. If you'd like to donate text "FLOODTX" to 41444, or click here and make your donation online.
