Charlie Daniels Band to Release CD/DVD: ‘Live At Billy Bob’s Texas’

The Charlie Daniels Band is set to release a new live CD/DVD combo in October titled "Live at Billy Bob’s Texas," recorded at the largest honky tonk in Fort Worth, Texas in February.

The album will feature 14 live tracks and include behind-the-scenes interview footage. The project features full band performances of classics like “Southern Boy,” “Drinkin’ My Baby Goodbye,” “Folsom Prison Blues” and of course, “The Devil Went Down to Georgia”.

"When you record live, you need to ignore the recording equipment and play for the people and that big old rowdy crowd. At Billy Bob’s Texas, that was easy to do,” says Daniels.

Charlie’s career isn’t slowing down any time soon. He is staying busy, having played more than 100 shows last year, and launched his 2015 tour in February. The highly antiicpated CD/DVD combo will be out October 16th.
