Cody Johnson Bags Trophy Buck in Wisconsin With Bow [PICTURES]

Earlier this year he sold out RodeoHouston, becoming the first independent act to ever accomplish the feat. This week Cody Johnson took his bow to Wisconsin and bagged a big beautiful buck.

Huge thanks to my buddy Dustin with Archer's GOLD Big Game & Hunts in Nekoosa, Wisconsin for delivering on another buck of a lifetime last season. I took this 208" GIANT with my bow!! And to make things better my dad scored on a buck that scored within 1/8" from mine!! (His was bigger hah!) I'll be back in 2018 for sure!

Also, I'd like to thank my pal Logan at the La Paloma Ranch down in Southwest Texas; I made a last minute trip for a few days with some friends and had a blast!! The first afternoon I laid the smackdown on a big ol Texas bruiser with my bow; 184 and some change. That same night we crept up on this beautiful oryx (which, by the way, is the best meat I've ever eaten). Thank y’all for having us!
