Cody Johnson Sings National Anthem Before Rangers Game

Nearly three years ago today on May 8th, 2014 Cody Johnson was invited to sing the National Anthem before a Texas Rangers game. And in true CoJo fashion he nailed it.

In honor of the three year anniversary of the performance, The Red Dirt BBQ and Music Festival on Saturday, and it being Thursday, we're gonna #Throwbackthursday to this momentous day in Cody Johnson Band history.

So how'd Cody do?

Trust me, I was looking for flubs. But aside from the announcer's too-long-pause, causing Cody to think it was his cue to start, he did a great job. Johnson stayed within his range, didn't try anything too crazy and left the crowd with a great rendition of our nation's most patriotic song.
