Even though they broke up over 10-years-ago, and the chances of a Ragweed reunion are about as high as Koe coming out of lock down dropping a Christian-Polka album on us, to this day Cross Canadian Ragweed remain the epitome of Red Dirt. They are and will forever be the scale on which bands from Oklahoma are measured.

To help satiate our Ragweed reunion desires, That MusicFest tribute album is out now. It was recorded in January '20 and was arguably the last good thing to happen that year. Cody Canada and Cross Canadian Ragweed were honored in Steamboat Springs, Colo with the "MusicFest Tribute to Cody Canada & The Music of Cross Canadian Ragweed."

The new album boasts 17 Cody Canada and Ragweed songs sung by the likes of Randy Rogers, Wade Bowen, Stoney LaRue, Reckless Kelly, Casey Donahew, and many more of Texas Music's best.

With this weeks RTX Sunday Video we take a look back at our favorite boys from Oklahoma, and a song and video that'll transport you directly back to high school, "17."

Be sure to give my new podcast a listen; Buddy Logan's Aircheck is available to stream or download on Spotify, Google, Tunein, anywhere fine podcasts can be found. You can hear my recent conversation with Cody Canada there now.
