There was a Facebook update on the Cross Canadian Ragweed page that has fans hoping and wishing and scratching their heads. It appears to be their iconic Ragweed logo draped in a maroon velvety curtain. Very cryptic.

It's really easy to, perhaps, assume too much here, we're not even sure who has access to the page these days. And we all know that Cody Canada has made it very clear Ragweed would never be getting back together.

I was really pissed off. It was coming, we saw it coming. If you watch any band that breaks up you can see the date that they split and go backwards and see it coming... When it did go down it went down in a heated argument. There was a lot of anger, and then the next day I was kinda scared... Sixteen years is a good run... getting back together will never happen. For those who are too young to know what Koe Wetzel's song "Ragweed" is about, it's Cross Canadian Ragweed. Ragweed, fronted by Cody Canada was one of the most influential Oklahoma or Texas bands of all time, a band that helped usher in the Red Dirt era in the late '90s. READ ABOUT RED DIRT HERE.

For now, we'll keep our fingers crossed and hope that something has changed and we will get the long-awaited Ragweed reunion.
