Turnpike Troubadour Evan Felker’s Future Gets an Encouraging Update Courtesy of His Wife
Turnpike Troubadours are the most missed band in the universe, and that includes alien bands that you and I have never heard of.
This week Evan Felker's wife, Staci, posted an adorable pic of herself and their beautiful baby girl Evangelina, both rocking denim jackets. It's super cute. But that pic is not what this particular post is for, we're here for that pic's comments section.
Obvious Turnpike fan, soulshine999, peaked all of our interest with her comment yesterday. First she hit Mrs. Felker and her daughter with a ringing compliment, "You're darling!" Then she took her shot and asked the question we all want the answer to, "Is dad ever going back on tour?"
Staci, who has always been very open with fans on Instagram, did not shy away from the question, and her answer did not disappoint. In fact it oughta make all of us, including the extraterrestrials, happy.
Yeah he’ll play again someday, but we’ve really loved and appreciated the time to just be a normal family - Staci Felker
There we go. I don't think any of us thought he'd never return, you know at some point. And while she didn't say anything of a Turnpike Troubadours reunion, just knowing, from his wife's own mouth, that Evan will be playing again is great news, even it for now it's just "some day."
We're here for ya, Evan!
If you missed it, Evan Felker was back on stage this past February, as he joined The Teague Brothes Band at a fundraiser. The former Turnpike Troubadours front man and his new mustache didn't miss a beat as he sang “7&7,” “Gin, Smoke, Lies,” “Good Lord, Lorrie,” and “Every Girl,” with the Teague Brothers Band.
