If you watch any documentary this year, I recommend you catch Glen Campbell's "I'll Be Me."

This film follows the Rhinestone Cowboy as he finds out he is diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease, and proceeds to start a farewell tour "as his family navigates the unpredictable nature of the disease through love, laughter and music."

It is said when Campbell was still of sound mind, he agreed to catch this whole life process on film to share the devastating effects of this disease. While heartbreaking, it is such a unique thing to observe through one of the most loved country artists of all time.

He also starred in a documentary about life with Alzheimer's, "Glen Campbell: I'll Be Me." Last month, he won a Grammy for his song "I'm Not Gonna Miss You," which plays at the conclusion of the documentary. The song also was nominated for an Oscar.
