We've made you wait all week, and now the wait is over.

We're proud to announce that one of Texas country's brightest stars, the Josh Abbott Band, will headline the second Red Dirt BBQ & Music Festival, presented by Tyler Ford, on Saturday, May 2, in Downtown Tyler.

Josh Abbott Band will close out a night that also features The Bigsbys, Uncle Lucius, Kyle Park and Stoney LaRue.

JAB have launched themselves to the pinnacle of the Texas Music scene over the past seven years, putting out huge hits, including "She's Like Texas," "Oh, Tonight" (with Kacey Musgraves), "My Texas" (with Pat Green) and many more.

They've had three songs get into the top 50 of the U.S. Country charts, including "Oh, Tonight," "Touch" and their latest, "Hangin' Around." Their album "Small Town Family Dream" reached the No. 5 spot on the U.S. Country albums chart.

More than 4,000 people will take over the square in Downtown Tyler to check out JAB, our other bands and 18 of the best barbecue restaurants in the state on Saturday, May 2.
