Randy Rogers Band’s Golf Jam Raises Over $100,000
Last Monday (Sept. 18) Randy Rogers and the boys hosted their 9th annual Golf Jam and Concert in Spring Branch, TX, and raised more than $100,000.
The annual Golf Jam included a three-man scramble that took place during the day, followed with intimate performances by Randy Rogers, Wade Bowen, Bruce Robison and Jim Beavers.
Money raised will be donated to Health Alliance for Austin Musicians (HAAM), an organization providing the musicians of Austin, TX with affordable and quality health care for low-income, uninsured working musicians, and MusiCares® Hurricane Harvey Relief Fund, which provides assistance for members of the music community affected by the recent devastation of Hurricane Harvey.
“During a time when so many are in need in our great state, we are so appreciative of the sponsors and supporters who came through for HAAM and Musicares for this event,” says Randy Rogers. “We’re excited about the response to the changes we made this year and are already looking forward to next year’s event.”
Since the tournament’s inception, in 2009, the Randy Rogers Band has raised more than half a million dollars for organizations across Texas.
