I have it on good authority that several young men request to propose to their ladies at nearly every Cody Johnson concert. Of course they do, what a memorable way to ask the woman you love to marry you. And while early on this was something his team could make happen for fans, as his popularity has skyrocketed, the corresponding influx of requests to propose to "Diamond in My Pocket" has become increasingly harder and harder to accommodate.

19-year-old KC Carter found the loop hole.

Carter took to Facebook to let friends know that he had proposed to his "best friend," posting a video of him and his now fiance dancing on a back road while Cody Johnson's version of George Strait's "You Look So Good in Love" blasted over the speakers. Since the video was post on January 29th it has been shared nearly 20,000 times.

MySanAntonio spoke with the newly engaged couple and discovered that KC and Allison Cooper, his 20-year-old fiance, regularly ride back roads together, “The first night we hung out we stopped on a back road to dance,” Carter teld the publication. “So it’s just a tradition that stuck.”

That's a fine tradition, congratulations, y'all!
