The Most Genuine Country Song from the Least Likely Songwriter

I stumbled across this beautiful story today -- a story of a 96 year old man mourning the loss of his wife right before their 73rd anniversary. To cope with this loss, he wrote a song about her entitled 'Sweet Loraine' and entered it into a singer/songwriter competition.

This man had no previous musical experience, but used an outlet we are all familiar with to divulge 72 years worth of love and emotion into one song.
