It is no doubt that The Everly Brothers' harmony and style have highly inspired many artists today. The music of Don Everly and Phil Everly expanded the country genre in the wake of rock-and-roll, along with the likes of Buddy Holly, and have a lifetime full of achievements to prove it.

Phil passed away just a short time ago, on January 3rd, 2014. Rest in peace.
