Texas is a vast and wonderful state. From the north in Dallas, TX to the south in San Antonio, TX; and from east to west there are so many great places to settle down and raise a family. But like Poison reminded us every rose has its thorn, and here are Texas' top 20 of those.
While there are so many variables that go into saying some place is the "worst," the folks who compiled this list based it on a few things that most every town or city has to deal with.
Of course the Lone Star State is a popular place to call home. We've got the numbers to back up our well placed sense of pride. It's the second-largest state in the U.S. by area, spanning over 261,797 square miles and by population too -- just over 28.7 million people call Texas home.

What constitutes a bad egg?
Well, in this case things including crime rate, or vicinity to crime; some towns may be close to worse neighborhoods or adjacent cities. Also, they took into account the rate of natural disasters.
