Tom T. Hall Celebrates 81st Birthday

Songwriter, singer, novelist, and short-story writer Tom T. Hall was born on this day, May 25th, in Olive Hill, Kentucky in 1936.

"The Storyteller," as he is referred to as fans, has written 11 No. 1 hit songs, with 26 more that reached the Top 10, including the No. 1 international pop crossover smash “Harper Valley PTA.” The 2008 Country Music Hall of Fame inductee also penned “I Love,” which reached No. 12 on the Billboard Hot 100.
