Townes Van Zandt was an American singer-songwriter who can never be celebrated enough. He is often referred to as a "songwriter's songwriter" -- a true musician down to his boots. Although he had nine studio albums between 1968 and his death in 1997, his recordings did not become truly recognized for their worth until after his death, during a resurgence of his music following the millennium.
