Turnpike Troubadour’s Evan Felker to Play Virtual Show with Rhett Miller of Old 97’s
It's not all your dreams coming true, but most Turnpike fans aren't necessarily holding out for that as much these days. We're all just happy that the guys are staying busy working other projects, and that Kyle Nix and Evan Felker have both found sobriety.
Evan Felker is back. If you’re a @TpTroubadours fan you’ve missed this guy. This Thursday night Evan will be joining me for the CF Concert Series @cff_northtexas benefit. We are working to help find a cure for cystic fibrosis.
BUT, this is still some great news. It appears that Evan is dipping his toe into the water and performing live once again. Yesterday Rhett Miller of the Old '97s tweeted that Felker will be joining him on stage for a cystic fibrosis benefit -- and you can watch the virtual event from the comfort of your couch on Thursday (10/28).
We haven't gotten many updates on Felker since the band broke up in 2019. However back in early March of this year fans were excited to see the former Turnpike Troubadour back on stage with the Teague Brother Band, footage of that performance soon went viral.
And just about a week later (March 9th) Staci Felker shared the news that she and Evan had recently become parents, welcoming a beautiful baby girl named Evangelina Hartford Felker.
If you'd like to watch Rhett Miller, Evan Felker, Pat Green, Todd Snider and more all that is asked of you is a donation to Cystic Fibrosis Foundation of North Texas, you can do that right here.
