Tyler's first-ever Red Dirt BBQ & Music Festival is already making some big waves. Well, those waves got even bigger today (Feb. 21).

The festival announced that Tyler's own Whiskey Myers will join a music lineup that includes Green River Ordinance and Randy Rogers Band on Saturday, May 3 on the square in downtown Tyler.

Palestine natives The Bigsbys will be the first band to play, going on stage at 4:30 p.m. during the BBQ portion of the festival. Gates for the concert will open at 6 p.m., with Green River Ordinance set to take the stage at 7 p.m. Whiskey Myers will follow and Randy Rogers Band will headline.

Whiskey Myers is out in full force supporting their new album, 'Early Morning Shakes,' released Feb. 4. They'll be a great addition to the festival in the town where it all started for them.

You can go to Red Dirt BBQ & Music Festival's website to check out more info, ticket prices and more. Tickets go on sale March 3. You can also like their Facebook page and follow them on Twitter.
