Cody Canada’s Son Joins Namesake Dierks Bentley on Stage #DoubleDierks

It's pretty well documented that Dierks Bentley and Cody Canada are great friends. Dierks name checks Ragweed in his song "Free and Easy," and Cody named his first-born after him.

This week Dierks Bentley played San Antonio Rodeo and capitalized on the opportunity of playing in Texas by inviting his namesake, Dierks Canada, to play lead guitar with him.

"We tossed out different songs, we went from Willy all the way Waylon and we somehow wound up on a Tom Petty song, Dierks Canada playing lead guitar."

The song they settled on was Tom Petty’s "You Wreck Me." Looks like the rock 'n roll gene has been passed down. Way to go Dierks C.!
