It can not get any more genuine country music today than Cody Jinks or Jamey Johnson -- wait a minute, yes it can.

At a 2018 show in Biloxi, Mississippi, Jinks and Johnson took the stage together to give attendees an amazing collaborative performance of Merle Haggard’s “I Think I’ll Just Stay Here & Drink.”

Quick history lesson: this song was written and recorded by Haggard, and released in October 1980. It was the second single from the album Back to the Barrooms, and went on to become The Hag's twenty-sixth No. 1 country hit.
