When a country artist covers a classic rock song we are usually unimpressed. It's too easy. When Cody Jinks covers Pink Floyd's "Wish You Were Here," we are overwrought with feelings.

Pink Floyd’s “Wish You Were Here” is one of the band's greatest songs. Covering an iconic song such as this often a dubious, and thankless pointless endeavor.

But here comes Jinks proving it most certainly is not. In fact it seems as if the Fort Worth native can do no wrong. His most recent album, I’m Not The Devil, has earned high, and seemingly universal praise, oh yeah, and he's selling out shows in every town he steps in. And let's not forget his national television debut coming up on TBS’s Conan this Thursday, January 26th, 2017.
