Jason Boland Debuts Upbeat Honky-Tonkin' 'I Don't Deserve You'

2015. That was the year that Jason Boland and the Stragglers released Squelch. Now here we are three years later in 2018 looking forward to the Red Dirt stalwart's new album Hard Times Are Relative, the band's ninth album out on May 18th.

Today we get our first gander at the new project in "I Don't Deserve You," an upbeat honky tonk love song with Texas' own Sunny Sweeney.

Boland tells Rolling Stone of the new album, "You get a lot of things you don't deserve in life, and yeah it sucks, but you get a lot of things in life that you deserve that are really good, too. If you're having hard times, they are relative to somebody else's hard times and whatever else is going on in the world."
