Josh Abbott Invites Up-And-Comer Abbey Cone On Stage for ‘Oh Tonight’

This week, Josh Abbott Band and William Clark Green played an acoustic set at House of Blues, Dallas and SOLD OUT. Naturally. But there's something more important I want to point out.

The Texas Music scene is a family and no matter how big an artist gets, they always seem to leave room for family on their stage, and to support lesser-known artists they love.

This week was another great example when Josh invited Miss Abbey Cone onto the stage to sing "Oh, Tonight," quite possibly his most popular song to date. While this was not the first time (she also shared the stage with him at Magnolia Motor Lounge and LJT Fest), it is a moment she will carry with her as her career grows.

And that is what it is all about... artists supporting other artists, because it's not a competition when it's family. Check out Abbey's first and current single "Love Like Him Again":
