LISTEN UP! Aubrie Sellers Covers Dwight Yoakam ‘A Thousand Miles From Nowhere’
She may sound like her mom, but don't be mistaken Aubrie Sellers has a style all her own. Since she released her debut album New City Blues in 2016, Lee Ann Womack's daughter has been hitting on radars across country radio.
Although you still might not have heard of her, Sellers has putting in major work on radio, television, and iconic festivals. She has played the Ryman, SXSW, Willie Nelson’s Luck Reunion Party, opened for Chris Stapleton (a lot). She's played Late Night with Seth Myers, and even debuted her album at NPR. All along the way gathering the steam of critical success and a lot of positive press.
She's been laying low of late, so we were glad to see this. Earlier this week she released a cover of the Dwight Yoakam classic, “A Thousand Miles From Nowhere.” And it is beautiful.
