It's the only reason we look forward to the sixth best day of the week. Randall King is back today with another edition of Tip the Hat Tuesday!

First off King apologies for missing a few weeks due to some vocal issues. We forgive you, Randall. Next the product of the Lubbock live music scene tells us about this week's song.

This song was co-written Dierks Bentley, and a very deep and talented respected songwriter, Harley Allen. Harley wrote three songs that really stick out to me, says King. "The Devil and Me," for Alan Jacksoin, "If Nobody Believed in You," as well as "I'll Wait for You," for Joe Nichols. This song really hits home because you only get one last name, y'all.

King hails from the plains of West Texas, Amarillo. And the influence of Hank Williams, George Jones, Merle Haggard, George Strait and Texas/Red Dirt icons Wade Bowen and Cody Johnson is evident in every note he sings. His latest EP, Another Bullet, is out now.
