Last week Larry Joe Taylor’s Texas Music Festival welcomed an estimated 50,000 people through the gates over it’s six days of live music. Over 50 bands played on three stages. One of which set their guitar on fire, and of course that's all anyone seems to want to talk about since.

But just In case you haven't heard. To close out his Wednesday night set, Sam Riggs set his guitar on fire. Afterward stories and rumors abound whether or not he had permission. Had he asked permission, was denied, then did it anyway? Did he get kicked out?

Today Riggs, in conjunctions with Larry Joe Taylor Festival released an official statement, actually it's more of an apology.

Ironically Rigg's latest single "Second Hand Smoke," is out to radio now.
