The music world lost one of its great guitarists Monday when Glenn Frey, the co-founder of classic rock band the Eagles, passed away at age 67.

Almost immediately after the sad news broke online, Eagles fans as well as musicians took to their social media accounts to pay their respects, share their personal stories and write about what Frey's music meant to them.

One of the most touching testimonials was shared by singer/songwriter Sean McConnell via his Facebook page. Listen to his beautiful acoustic version of the ballad "Desperado" written by the late Glenn Frey and band member and friend, Don Henley.
