Not only did Stewart Mann and the Statesboro Revue headline their first show at Gruene Hall this week, the boys sold. it. out.

It was a crowning moment for Stewart, who took to Facebook to express his gratefulness to everyone who helped his band to this point.

For 16 years I've been paying my dues as a musician. I've made 6 records, played over 2,000 shows across 14 countries(many of them for zero money just to get a foot in the door), I've gone through 6 band vans, 3 trailers, had multiple instruments stolen from me, and I've lost touch with many friends over the years due to my crazy touring schedule. I have devoted my entire adult life to music. It was all worth it. My band, The Statesboro Revue, almost sold out Gruene Hall Saturday night. If you have ever supported me or my music along this journey WE DID IT! Thank you and I love each and every one of you. I rarely talk about my personal life on here, but this accomplishment merits me talking about how grateful I am that my wife, Carrie Kolodziej Mann, has been by my side for most of my musical journey and has loved and supported me 100% through it all. Musician girlfriends and wives are a rare breed, and we don't show our appreciation enough. Feeling blessed today y'all, more than you know.
