Sturgill Simpson Pledges 100% of Tour Proceeds to Special Forces Foundation

Sturgill Simpson has announced a new tour, one where all of the proceeds from it will benefit members of the Unites States Military Special Forces.

To date Simpson has announced a six show jaunt that will kick off at the Troubadour in West Hollywood, CA, on September 29th and wrap up a little over a week later at Stone Pony in Asbury Park, NJ.

Simpson has pledged that 100% of the net proceeds will go directly to the Special Forces Foundation, which is a non-profit organization that provides assistance to Army Special Forces soldiers, Green Berets, and their families.

Simpson's next album Sound & Fury will be out September 27th, along with the accompanying anime film on Netflix.
