Throughout the history of "Texas Music" there have been certain artists that stepped forward as... "leaders" per-say. These leaders made headway for the rest of our favorite artists. In the beginning, we had Pat Green, Cory Morrow and Roger Creager step up, followed by Randy Rogers, Wade Bowen etc etc etc.

In November we teamed up with Cavender's to giveaway an all-expenses-paid trip to Steamboat Springs for MusicFest2015, a festival that has become THE Texas and Red Dirt festival everyone who is anyone goes to (except me, I've never been).

Chances are, if you've been to at least two Roger Creager shows, you've seen his dad, Bill, performing with him. The elder Creager, a retired Army Green Beret has become a staple, and fan favorite on Creager's stage. Well, last weekend he took it to an entirely new level, he crowd surfed.

Roger Creager's latest project Road Show was released last summer, right before The River Song became his 749th No. 1 in Texas. This Friday (10/24) Creager returns to Cowboy's nightclub in Tyler with his 749 consecutive No. 1 singles.

Texans know Roger Creager for his lively shows and good timin' music. Today the Guinness Book of World Records will know him as the man who orchestrated the largest river float, ever.

Listening to Roger Creager's latest EP, Road Show, will have you thinking "now that's some fun summertime songs." And eclectic too. Creager obviously had his live show in mind with these. They're all gonna be don't-miss-live-in-concert-songs.
