While performing in Sioux Falls, SD over the weekend East Texas rockers Whiskey Myers were robbed. Police say three guitars were stolen from onstage at a Sioux Falls entertainment venue are worth thousands of dollars.

Police spokesman Sam Clemens said the guitars were taken from The District on Sunday morning, sometime between midnight and 12:45 a.m.

The guitars were a 1973 Les Paul Goldtop valued at $3,000, a green Fender Stratocaster valued at $2,500 and a Fender Telecaster made of natural maple wood valued at $2,000.

Clemens said the suspect in the case may have been caught on surveillance footage, and they should be able to view the tapes soon.

The guitars were all onstage at The District at the time of the theft, Clemens said, but it's not clear how exactly they were taken.
