William Clark Green will release his long-awaited, highly anticipated fifth studio album, Hebert Island on August 10. Just as his previous albums, Hebert Island (pronounced A-Bear) is inspired by a familiar locale in Green’s home state, beautiful Texas.

In this instance, Green’s family-owned ranch outside Beaumont, TX set the scene for a collection of rustically poetic songs anchored by swampy Southern rock, expansive Texas country sensibilities and Green’s elegantly gritty vocals.

“I think every album is a chapter in my life,” says Green. “We work very hard at following our hearts through music and trying to advance our style. This album is no different. I think I figured out on this album that love trumps everything.”
