Jason Isbell to Guest Star on Cartoon Network’s ‘Squidbillies’

He is one of Americana's most revered singers and songwriters, and coming soon to your television, Jason Isbell will be a guest voice on Cartoon Network’s Squidbillies.

Pastor Kyle Nubbins is his character's name, and preview above, Isbell’s pastor Nubbins welcomes the Culyer family to a backwoods church in Appalachian country in the season 10 finale. The episode airs this Sunday, August 21st.

Since going on the air in 2005, Squidbillies has had quite the list of Americana artists as guest stars, including Elizabeth Cook, the Drive-By Truckers, Lucinda Williams, Todd Snider and David Allan Coe.
